BRAIN TRAINING MOBILITY FOR A SMARTER WORKING BODY

You work out. You are strong. But something still feels off.

Your hip is always tight.
Your knee keeps bothering you.
Your back constantly feels stiff.
Your shoulder doesn’t move the way you want it to.

Your body may not need another workout.

It may need better brain-to-body communication.

Your brain tells your body how to move.

It is constantly receiving information from your muscles, joints, feet, eyes, breath, balance, and nervous system.

This information helps your brain understand:

Do I feel safe?

Where is my body?
Am I balanced?

What muscles should be working?
How should I move?

Brain Training Mobility gives your brain and body a chance to slow down, pay attention, and reconnect in movement.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR BODY STARTS TO COMPENSATE?

When communication becomes less efficient, your body is smart enough to find another neurological pathway.

Your body finds an easier way to move.

Then other muscles may start working too hard, too long and become weak.

Over time, this can create:

  • Muscle imbalances
  • Tightness
  • Pain or discomfort
  • Poor movement patterns
  • Extra stress on other areas of the body
  • A potential opportunity for a new injury in the future

We would like to avoid this.

You can be strong and still compensate.

You can work out five days a week and still struggle to activate the right muscles.

YOUR BODY IS SMART.

Your body has its own natural neurological intelligence.

It is constantly:

Adjusting.
Adapting.
Protecting.

Evolving.
Finding ways to keep you moving.

The goal of Brain Training Mobility is to help your brain and body communicate better so you can become more aware of how your body is actually moving.

DO YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE PROBLEMS?

Is your knee bothering you?

Does it feel uncomfortable when you squat, lunge, walk stairs, or work out?

Are your hips always tight?

Does one side feel different from the other? Do you struggle to feel your glutes working?

Is your back constantly stiff or sore?

Do you feel like your back is doing all the work instead of your core?

Does your shoulder feel tight or restricted?

Do you struggle with overhead movement or feel like the muscles are not working the way they should?

This class may be FOR YOU.

Each Tramp Mobility focus class will be built around a specific body challenge:

Knee Focus
Hip Focus
Back Focus
Shoulder Focus

This allows us to bring together people experiencing similar movement challenges and focus the class around that area of the body.

Trampoline helps assist with your mobility.

The surface underneath you changes.

Your balance changes.

Your pressure changes.

And your brain has to pay attention.

This gives your brain different information than it receives when you are standing on a hard, stable floor.

We can use small, controlled movements on the trampoline to help you explore:

  • Balance
  • Mobility
  • Stability
  • Muscle activation
  • Body awareness
  • Coordination

This is not a bounce fitness class.

The trampoline is a mobility and brain-training tool.

WHAT ELSE DO WE USE?

Depending on the focus of the class, we may also focus/use:

  • Vibration tools
  • Breath and deep-core connection
  • Pelvis, hip, and spine positioning
  • Balance and proprioception
  • Sensory input
  • Eyes-open / eyes-closed brain training
  • Brain → body → muscle activation
  • Mind-muscle connection
  • Pressure-point work
  • Movement compensation awareness
  • Nervous-system reset
  • Muscle activation and recovery
  • Pelvic-floor and bladder support when relevant
  • Post-surgery body awareness
  • Infrared sauna recovery

Different tools. One main purpose:

Helping your brain and body communicate better.

YOUR BODY ASSESSMENT COMES FIRST.

Before joining a focus class, you complete the:

Pelvic Fit RX: Body Assessment Questionnaire

This helps me understand:

  • What area is bothering you
  • What feels tight or restricted
  • Previous injuries
  • Previous surgeries
  • Movements you struggle with
  • Muscles you have difficulty feeling
  • How you currently work out
  • Where your body may be compensating

This allows me to better understand the people coming into each focus class and create content around the specific challenges showing up in that group.

STOP GUESSING WHAT YOUR BODY NEEDS.

Your knee may not only be a knee problem.

Your tight hip may be connected to how you are standing, balancing, breathing, or activating other muscles.

Your back may be working harder because another area is not doing its job.

Your shoulder may be compensating for something happening somewhere else.

Your whole body works together.

Brain Training Mobility helps you start paying attention to those connections.

Train your brain.

Understand your body.

Move smarter.

THEN..

YOUR BODY ASSESSMENT COMES 2nd

This helps me get a more personal understanding of what is going on with your body.

The questionnaire helps me learn about:

  • Your current movement challenges
  • Previous injuries
  • Previous surgeries
  • Pelvic history where relevant
  • Areas that feel tight or restricted
  • Muscles you have trouble activating
  • Recovery challenges
  • What movements are bothering you
  • How you currently work out

This is where I start connecting the dots.

Your answers help me understand your specific problem, not just the area that hurts.

That gives me a better picture of what may be happening before you come into the class and helps me create a more focused experience around the people joining each group.

Tell me what your body is struggling with.
